AV Coordinator- The RiverFront
• Location 900 Farnam Street ,Omaha, NE, 68102, United States
• Base Pay$21.50 – $22.50 / Hour
• Employee Type Full-Time
Summary
Coordinate all audio/visual related functions at The RiverFront including but not limited to multi-media installation, playlist accounts, 3rd party vendor coordination and light programming. Coordinate audio/visual functions of the park with events and programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Learn, document, and coordinate the multi-media elements installed in Gene Leahy Mall.
• Assist with content creation for the multi-media features installed in Gene Leahy Mall.
• Understand and manage Automated Park Management Systems including lighting control systems. Learn through internal and external training ETC lighting controls.
• Oversee and maintain the facility electrical equipment and related systems. Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement through contracted services.
• Read and understand blueprints and associated product manufacturer’s literature.
• Monitor the activities of outside contracted audio/visual and electrical services as directed.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance work.
• Assist with creation of park playlists and management of playlist schedule.
• Coordinate with external event production companies for special events. Act as liaison with any contracted event-related staffing companies and their management personnel.
• Assist with content creation, signage and graphics throughout the park system on an as-needed basis.
• This is a 100% outdoor facility. Must be willing to work outdoors.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and other relevant communication. Ability to write clear and concise reports, content, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
