Job description:
We are currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to help us achieve our company goals and fulfill our mission as a Broker. If you have experience in the industry or logistics as well as customer service experience and want to be a part of a fun, fast-paced, family-oriented, women-owned company.
The Broker identifies approved carriers to transport goods in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Provides exceptional customer service to shippers, carriers, and dispatchers. Negotiates rates, manages relationships, tracks shipments, and ensures that all freight is moved smoothly and timely, adhering to all industry regulations.
The ideal candidate should have:
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Work experience in transportation operations or logistics coordination is preferred but not required.
Strong negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication along with exceptional customer service.
Work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking.
Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
