The Lincoln Regional Center, a Joint Commission accredited state psychiatric facility, is looking to fill our PERMANENT FULL-TIME and TEMPORARY ON-CALL Mental Health Security Specialist II positions. We have permanent full-time 2nd and 3rd shifts available, as well as some temporary on-call positions. Available shifts will be discussed at the interview and at the time of offer. Hiring rate of position: $16.16 per hour for permanent positions, $14.907 per hour for temporary on-call positions. Additional shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Location of position: Lincoln Regional Center 801 W. Prospector Lincoln, NE

Work schedule: Full-time 2nd Shift: 2:45pm - 11:15pm and/or 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am as well as temporary on-call positions available

Mental Health Security Specialist II play a vital role in the care of patients at Lincoln Regional Center. They will work directly with the adult patient population to ensure not only safety of the individuals served but provide a safe and therapeutic living environment as well. The responsibilities of this position also include encouraging participation in treatment, modeling appropriate interactions, documentation of efforts or areas of concern, and may be required to transport patients using a state car.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 19 years of age to work with adult client populations and possess a valid driver's license or independent authorized transportation.

PREFERRED: One year or more combined experience or education in human services, customer service, or military service.

OTHER: Must be able to attend and complete three (3) weeks of New Employee Orientation Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, attendance during this time is mandatory. Must be able to work a shift assignment which includes weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
