Job description:

Incumbent works under the direction of the Administrator or designee performing data entry, records maintenance and ensuring compliance with County policies and regulations.

Compensation: $22.50/Hour

Essential Functions:
Enter information into databases or spreadsheets.
Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct issues to maintain data quality.
Organize, update, and maintain files (e.g. digital, physical) ensuring retrieval and compliance with County policies.
Generate reports, summaries, or audit trails for management review and decision-making.
Handle sensitive or confidential information in accordance with privacy laws and County guidelines (e.g., HIPAA).
Coordinate with team members, departments, or clients, collecting and verifying data.

Education and Work Experience and Other Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.*
One (1) year of clerical experience required.*
Completion of a pre-employment criminal record check and conditional offer drug screen required.
*Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted for requirements on a year-for-year basis.

Work is generally performed in an office setting. Noise level is usually quiet. Work hours are typically standard day-shift hours; however, schedule may vary (e.g. days, shifts). Work may be stressful when dealing with time constraints and multiple/changing priorities.

Work requires some physical activity, including extended periods of sitting, standing, frequent reaching, walking, and occasional balancing, kneeling, bending, and. Work also requires the ability to frequently lift/carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Required sensory abilities include vision, hearing and touch. Visual abilities, correctable to normal ranges, include close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Communication abilities include the ability to talk and hear within normal ranges. Incumbent must possess the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate computers and other equipment.
