A Furniture Installer job involves delivering, unpacking, assembling, and installing furniture according to specifications, ensuring a safe and clean workspace, and providing excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery and Unloading: Load and unload furniture from trucks and stage it for installation at customer sites.
Assembly and Installation: Unpack, move, assemble, and install furniture according to specifications and plans.
Quality Assurance: Inspect furniture for damage and ensure proper installation according to standards.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, address their concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety: Maintain a safe and clean workspace, following all safety protocols.
Documentation: Accurately complete required written and electronic documentation.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during installation.
Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
Time Management: Complete installations within specified timeframes.
Cleaning: Clean furniture and the site upon completion of installation/delivery.
Tool Proficiency: Utilize hand and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
Blueprint Reading: Understand and follow blueprints or job tickets for furniture installation.
Space Planning: Review floor plans and exercise space planning skills.
Disassembly: Disassemble office furniture and load pieces onto pallets and then trucks.
Mounting: Mount cabinets and bookshelves.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 115 pounds. The employee at times will be working indoors and outdoors and exposed to current weather conditions and active construction job site hazards.
