Join our team as an Assistive Technology Equipment Associate and play a vital role in connecting individuals with the tools they need to live, learn, and work more independently. In this position, you will coordinate equipment loans and demonstrations, maintain and track equipment inventory, organize the statewide Reuse Network, and support daily office operations.

Office Location: This position is assigned to our office located at 84th & O St, Lincoln, NE.
Pay Grade 4: $21.662/hour
This rate is based upon available budget funds; any offer will be made at this rate.

Essential Functions
Assists the public and maintains daily operations of the office including answering phones, directing and answering inquiries, and coordinating the equipment loan pool.
Collects and summarizes data to measure progress and facilitate program planning, and reviews policies and procedures for compliance.
Processes equipment loans for consumers and provides technical assistance regarding navigating the equipment database. Maintains inventory of available equipment and ensures equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
Facilitates statewide equipment inventory and surplus for Assistive Technology Partnership (ATP).
Assists with equipment ordering using a state issued purchase card.
Organizes the Reuse Network and collaborates with other partners to obtain and distribute assistive technology as well as market and promote Reuse.
Provides technical assistance and support related to employee telephones including researching and ordering phones.
Maintains regular & reliable attendance, possesses a valid driver’s license and travels independently, and works in a variety of settings.
Working Conditions and Travel:
This position requires approximately 80% of work time spent in an office environment; the remaining 20% is spent traveling or working in alternative sites such as other ATP offices, consumer homes, conferences, and events. There is also approximately two days of overnight travel per year.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience related to the essential functions of the position. Any equivalent combination of education and/or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
Preferred Qualifications: Postsecondary education related to the essential functions of the position. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and planning and presenting information for public outreach.
